Smart-Slide sliding doors are a new generation in the field of sliding patio doors, which are characterized primarily by excellent technical properties and comfort of their operation.

High tightness of the structure

Smart-Slide sliding doors are a new solution in the segment of sliding doors/windows, which may ultimately be an attractive alternative to PSK/PATIO patio doors. This is a great solution both in terms of single-family housing, but also public utility buildings, where ease of use and reliability are expected from patio doors. A well-thought-out combination of technical solutions makes Smart-Slide achieve very good results in terms of air permeability, wind resistance and water resistance tests. All this thanks to properly matched peripheral gaskets of the leaf, which are pressed transversely to the frame by turning the handle, along the entire perimeter. Achieving high tightness is also ensured by the locking points in the post area.

User comfort

The innovative closing mechanism allows for simple and intuitive operation, similar to the solutions used in the HST type lift and slide doors. Specialized window fittings guarantee that the sash, after unlocking it, moves freely and without the slightest resistance on trolleys relative to the unopened part of the structure. The locking mechanism allows for gentle closing of the sash in the frame, and thus easy operation of the sliding door.

Stability and the ability to create large structures

Large glass surfaces are very fashionable. The Smart-Slide sliding door meets this need, enabling the creation of a glazed structure with dimensions of 5.85 x 2.3 m in scheme C. The maximum width of the door leaf in the smart-slide door is 1.5 x 2.3 m, while the maximum width of the door in scheme A is 4 m, and the division of the structure is then asymmetrical (maximum width of the movable sash 1.5 m). Locking around the entire perimeter of the leaf ensures high clamping force, and at the same time, after opening, the leaf moves extremely lightly, using minimal force. This is a very important advantage, especially in comparison with the pull-and-slide structures, which with a large number of opening/closing cycles can be troublesome in operation. In addition, thanks to the construction of profiles using the Multifalz technology, it is possible to optionally use the glass gluing technology, which allows for greater rigidity of the entire structure.

Space-saving

The use of Smart-Slide sliding doors is also a step towards the optimal use of space inside the room, because opening the door does not require opening the wings, which would deeply "enter" the living space. SMART-SLIDE doors can be made in two schemes A and C:
